Eight Atlar Customers on CNBC's 2026 Top Fintech List
Eight companies we're proud to work with have been named among the world's top fintechs by CNBC and Statista. Congratulations to all of them.
Every year, CNBC and Statista rank the world's leading fintech companies. This year's list runs to 500 names, chosen from a field of more than 3,500, and eight of them are Atlar customers. They include Trustly and Zilch in payments, Tide in neobanking, TrueLayer and Zafin in enterprise fintech, and Banxware in alternative financing, plus two more. Making the cut is a real achievement, and we're delighted to see all eight recognized.
Each one a leader in its field
These are serious companies, working in very different corners of finance. Trustly runs one of Europe's leading Pay by Bank networks and processed close to $100 billion in payments last year. TrueLayer moves over $100 billion in annualized volume for more than 15 million consumers. Tide has become a financial home for over a million small businesses across the UK, India, and Germany. Zafin sits behind some of the world's largest banks, helping them design and price what they sell.
Fintechs make demanding customers
We work with a lot of fintechs, and they are some of the most exacting customers we have. Moving and holding money is their core business, so they judge the tools they run on the way they would judge their own product. That makes them hard to satisfy, and it makes us better. Companies like these trust Atlar to run their cash and payments behind the scenes, with their banks connected in real time.
Trustly, one of the eight named this year, described the change for its own team.
"Atlar's platform provides the automation, visibility, and controls we need to manage our treasury efficiently at a global scale. It allows our finance team to focus on strategic analysis rather than manual reconciliation." — Joanna Hacking, SVP Finance at Trustly.
Three of the eight, including Trustly and Zafin, are Nordic Capital portfolio companies. And two more Atlar customers, Mangopay and Liberis, have made the list in earlier years, so the names on it are familiar to us. Congratulations to all eight, and thank you for letting us play a small part in what you're building.
