Key takeaways
- Acast, the global podcast marketplace listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, has selected Atlar to automate bank reconciliation across its markets, matched against NetSuite.
- Acast's banks will connect directly to Atlar. AI matching will clear most transactions on its own and send only the exceptions to the finance team for review.
- A reconciliation agent is coming next. It will handle more of the exceptions itself, so Acast can expand into new markets without its reconciliation workload growing at the same rate.
Acast, the global podcast marketplace listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, has selected Atlar to automate bank reconciliation across its markets, matched against NetSuite.
The marketplace that pays podcasters
Acast is the global authority on podcasting, with over 140,000 storytellers and more than a billion listeners each quarter. The company, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm (ACAST), just posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue, up 28 percent.
Closing the books across borders
Operating in many markets means Acast holds cash with banks in each of them, and before the books can close every month, every transaction has to be matched against the ledger. Done market by market, by hand, that is slow and exacting work.
Atlar’s AI-powered reconciliation will handle the bulk of that work. Acast's banks will connect directly to Atlar, and rather than matching statements line by line, AI matching will clear the majority of transactions on its own and surface only the exceptions for review.
The reconciled entries will be posted into NetSuite, the ERP the team already runs on. Atlar builds that integration natively, and was named NetSuite's International Partner of the Year in 2025. Because it maintains its own bank connections too, even the markets that are hard to reach will come into the same place as the rest.
A reconciliation agent is coming next, which will take this further, handling more of the exceptions itself and leaving the team a shorter list to confirm. As Katharina Urkko, Senior Director Finance at Acast, puts it:
"Semi-manual work does not scale well. The more markets we add, the more reconciliation there is to do. Atlar connects our banks directly and matches most transactions automatically, so we can keep expanding without the reconciliation workload growing at the same pace."
We're proud to welcome Acast to Atlar, and to work with the team to help bring its banks onto the platform.
